I had so much fun with Colton last night. We were laughing like we haven't laughed in a long time. Too often we get caught up in the "rules" of life. Making sure everybody is doing just what they are supposed to do instead of enjoying things as they are. But last night was different.
It started out that he was playing his flute for me, and I was in awe about how different the flute is from the piano. But it still has the same music that you read. It was incredible. It turned into this laughing spout and he and I were both laughing simultaneously.
Alex learned how to tie his shoes, and Shanon finished the mudding in the hearth area.
It was a great night all in all.
